The organization is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of seven experienced members with extensive and diverse backgrounds. The board comprises former officials from the Board of Secretaries to the Government of Sindh, specializing in Health, Finance, Planning and Development, and Population Welfare.
The journey of PPHI began in Kashmore district in 2007 and gradually expanded to cover 22 districts of Sindh. Initially, this responsibility was entrusted to the organization in 2007 through the Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Sindh (GoS). In 2013, the organization was officially registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
The primary objective of PPHI Sindh is to restore health services in rural areas of Sindh. Their immediate goal is to ensure the proper functioning of health facilities referred to by PPHI and to make healthcare services accessible to all.
To accomplish this, a dedicated and competent management team has been deployed, working diligently towards achieving the organization’s objectives. Within a short period, they have successfully ensured regular attendance of doctors and staff at health facilities, as well as a consistent supply of medical provisions. PPHI Sindh is currently hiring for various positions including Medical Officer, Female Medical Officer, Nurse, Midwife, Lady Health Visitor, Dispenser, Technician, Electrician, Medicine Handler, Plumber, Driver, Female Attendant, Attendant, Sanitary Worker, and Chowkidar/Guard.
